A Eulogy: The school was established in 1965 on the dormitory site of the Guangdong
Overseas Chinese High School (广东华侨中学 )
after it moved to a new suburban location.
The Guangdong Overseas Chinese High School reopened in 1984 and took its
old campus and dormitory site back. The Guangzhou High School No. 51
thus ended its brief existence (1965-1984).
